Many people have asked us how Be Good Family started
and the story is below:

It was a beautiful day in the spring of 97, hanging out at the ocean in Laguna Beach, California. My friends Mark and Michelle, along with our dogs and myself were playing around and we were feeling really inspired as we always did at this spot. That day, three words were written on a piece of paper that was to begin the evolution of Be Good Family. Stickers were made with those words and brought to the Sierra Nevada Music Festival. That was the beginning.

Since then Be Good Family has become more than just three words on a piece of paper. There is no specific meaning to Be Good Family, it is whatever you make of it. The words have grown to mean many different things for many different people.

Be Good Family is about sustainability and helping promote a positive imprint and caring for our Mother Earth. Be Good Family is about caring for other people and their plight in this world. Be Good Family is about global justice and trying to help our global neighbors prosper in peace, unity and abundance. Be Good Family is about enlightening others about positive directions that they can take their lives and helping spread positive vibrations in all of their relations. Be Good Family is about promoting community and sharing our surplus with others who need it. Be Good Family is about being creative and inspiring others to explore their creativity. Most of all Be Good Family is about you and what kind of positive impact you can make on this planet and more specifically in your community.
